Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine with a special focus on the spine. Chiropractors are trained at detecting and reducing any misalignments in the spine, which are also called chiropractic manipulation/adjustments.
These adjustments are highly specialised techniques that are performed by hand and consist of a thrust applied to a specific vertebra in the spine, restoring its movement.
These adjustments can be applied to any joint in the body and therefore, chiropractic care can help with other joint-related pain such as shoulder, elbow, and wrist pain as well as hip, knee, and ankle pain.

Hi, I'm Dr Tina
For 14 years, I've been helping people in Roodepoort move more comfortably and get back to the things they love.
If there's one thing my patients mention most, it's that I take the time to explain. That's deliberate. I believe you should understand what's happening in your body, and why, before anything happens. You're an active part of your care, not someone things are done to.
I see people of all ages and walks of life, from desk workers and new moms to weekend athletes. Every plan is built around you, and I'll always be honest about what chiropractic can help with, and when someone else might be the right person to see.
When I'm not in the practice, you'll usually find me with my husband and our two boys.
